Thanks for the tips. I considered the strap vs bungee and went with bungee cords as it was the easier of the two options. I figured it would be easy to switch over at a later date when the time was right. As for the connector, yes I anticipate some trouble with that in the future. All other wire connections are soldered and heat shrink wrapped. I wanted to be able to disconnect the battery box from the pump and tank for easy removal. I will keep the connector lubed with electric connector grease to minimize water corrosion and just be prepared to replace it in the future if I see build up. Thanks for commenting on the project.
