Anyone know why sit in kayaks are ok, but sit ons are not? You are just as likely to touch the water in a sit in as sit on. Would fish here more often if they did. Tough fish from the banks. Going tomorrow and will ask. Just stocked with lightning trout and would really like to see one.

What I was told was it’s because sit on tops are self bailing. I’d fish the crap out of dvl if I could.

It must have to do for the fact that the water is for public use. Potable water.

No wading is allowed, so you are in the sit in before getting into the water.

Is what I would guess.
