Most recent report I heard was the cabrilla and Corvina were still on the chew early May. Other than that, I haven't heard much.

I have seen a few reports the last couple weeks of some nicer size yellowtail being caught. And a bunch of cabrilla. Been checking the weather report and there are a few days here and there with 20-30 mph winds. But also some 5-10 mpg days. Hopefully we don’t get a wind spell on this trip. |

It will be nice to see you down there again homie! I can't wait...
Ill be down with Lupe on a work trip for memorial weekend. Im going to help him do his roof. Of course ill get a lil fishing in too. Last month there were decent size Yellowtail here and there, Sierra, triggers and the most corvina I have ever seen there, ever! We did pretty good on a panga. I did ok on the yak too.

I'm going to swing by Makoville some time during that period. I'm trying to find a good weather window to fish San Quintin and also pick up some goodies that Makobob is bringing down for me. Hope to see some of you guys.

Looks like we're headed down 13-16. If there's anything the camp needs let me know Bob!

Guys
I just got back from camp and the fishing was great. Camp needs supplies of all kinds. Please bring something to contribute. We need the following... Gallon sized bottled water Paper towels Toilet paper Red solo cups Plastic utensils Dog food for our 4 legged buddies Anything else that you can think of that we use every day while there. Thank you, Dave |

Can't make this one
Roberto and the gang,
I'll have to bow out of this trip. I was about to say unfortunately..., but the truth is a last-minute, mostly free, guided fly fishing trip to Cuba basically fell into my lap for the week of Memorial day, and it's waaaaaayyyyy to good to pass up. Cuba will be epic, chasing bonefish, tarpon and permit in pristine, lightly fished waters. I don't get to fish often these days, so I've got to make it count when I can. But I am bummed about missing out on the gonzaga trip. Especially with the all-star crew that's been assembled for this one. Have fun everyone and hopefully I'll be able to make it down in the Fall. Take care Roberto and I'll see you in Gonzaga next time. Paul |
