A little kayak trailer work...

I got a deal on a single jet ski trailer that I couldn't pass up...

For $180 I got a new axle, hubs and springs...with the slipper type springs it's just 2 bolts to replace all the running gear.

A mock-up of the second floor rack...

Completed Rack...

4'x10' Marine ply with a DekCrete finish...

Sides going on...

Lots of room in this girl for those Sierra trips...

The old trailer is now a single low-boy easy to load trailer for local runs...

The axle is not galvanized as I don't plan on dipping this trailer into the water.
There was an option for a few more bucks of a galvanized axle...the pre-assembled axle, hubs and springs were from Zieman trailers.
This bigger trailer should ride a lot better at highway speeds. Can't wait to load it with camping gear.
