So what does the event need from volunteer folks land based and otherwse? Equipment, skills, just general helping folks in and about?

I'm curious to know and if the wife doesn't have any pressing events that require my attendance I might/would like to be able to be there in some capacity.

Mentors for on the water assistance, and land based for set up, unloading equiptment, cooking and reloading after the event. Both really help the vets enjoy the day. Tight Lines.

What Bob said. The on water mentors essentially act as a fishing guide for the day and help with setup/breakdown. And the shore volunteers make sure everything is running smoothly and help with food while everyone's on the water.

I'm In!

Alright, so I've signed up and I'll certainly try to be there at 0600. I signed up as a land based guy but I'll have the yak and gear there if needed. I'm happy to assist with whatever. I also have a 12' aluminum dinghy with an 8hp already on the bay that can be brought over if needed as well.
