Hot. Hot. Hot.

Told the girl we could go down and watch the meteor shower for the weekend. Before we left the weather was calling for uncomfortable amounts of wind so wasn't really planning on diving. Well the weather was wrong. Found a window on Sunday and got a decent island run in. Plenty of fish but we left the grouper alone. The snapper hole was plentiful and we took only what we needed.

BOB the rhino had a flat that we changed out with the spare. Tried to get a hold of you but your number wasn't going through. Anyways the tire has a tiny puncture in the sidewall. We cleaned up a little bit and left the place nicer than when we came. Always appreciate the hospitality.

Here's a couple pics

The secret lagoon at high tide is a must for any island visitors. Just make sure it's high ENOUGH. Our panguero who will remain nameless ended up running aground and we had a ton of fun pushing it off the rocks lol.

Visitor

First timer loved every second. Beautiful conditions till about noon.

Hunting pargo in 40 foot vis doesn't get any better

And this slob kicked my arse at 50 feet. Made three intense runs into a crevice and had to be manhandled out.

The meteor shower was awesome. Accented by a visually stunning thunder and lightning storm in Sonora. Further accented by a beautiful moonrise. Slept outside in the heat and got obliterated by bugs. Worth it. Always worth it.

Not many people I know have been to that lagoon. My buddy was telling me he has pulled lobster out of there.

Im sure Bob will be glad you cleaned up, the last time Bob left his house he was unconscious, and we threw him in the truck and I hauled is ass to the border.

Nice pics. Looks like a fun time.

How does a complete newbie get started in free diving. Ideally lessons right? I've been thinking of trying it out.

Right around the corner from the lagoon. Cruising the boulders.
