Big bear lake?

Has anyone been fishing up there recently? I'm thinking about doing a trip up there to fish for a day.

The lake is as low as I've ever seen it, it's so low they are making the pontoon boats go only one way as they get grounded going the other way

My wife was just up there this last weekend. She said all the little fingers and nooks and crannies off the main body of water are dried up. They stayed in a cabin "on the lake" or what used to be on the lake. She took a couple photos, you will get the idea.

Not sure how much of a change in the fishing it has made, but i would imagine plenty of spots with good structure are now dried up.

That's just sad. I guess if you're going for bass it won't be such a big deal.

Wow that sucks, so I'm guessing trolling "deep" in the center of the lake would probably be about the only option for trout then.

Just goooo!

Bass catfish and trout will all bite this time
of year! Sad to see it so low! Scope out structure
spots for when/if it ever fills again.
