Decided to launch after the tide swung (mainly I didn't want to get up when the alarm went off), so I left about 7:00. Got my coffee and headed for McDonalds for some breakfast. Got there and realized I hadn't loaded up my rods or paddle. DOH! Drove back home and then hit the traffic. Made it to the launch at 8:00 and was on the water shortly thereafter.

Headed over to the channel and realized there was no current. WTH, there's a 7' swing, it should've been ripping. It took until about 9:00 for the current to pick up and when it did it was smoking. I worked all kinds of areas with lots of different colors for 1 short spotty and a few missed short bites. But, at least I didn't come home with the stripe on my back like last week. Like last week, I didn't mark a single bass and very little bait. Last week I had lots of short bites, this week I think I had under 10 bites the whole morning. I would've thought that having current would help a lot, but not this time.

The one fish ate a Coconut Ice 5" Paddlerz on a silver 1/2oz Warbait. Most of the other bites were on a 4" Flurry in Red Fish, same Warbait head. Hot Sauce when I remembered.
