Mirage Drive Upgrade???

Can you change some parts out to upgrade 2014 Mirage drive to the 2015 glide tech?

Has anyone tried older and newer version on PA14 and notice a big difference?

Think it is worth the trouble?

I have a cigar, some beer and intend on tricking the wife that I am doing chores out back..............

Well worth it and possible to do yourself. Took me about an hour tops. Thats only because every needle bearing fell out on me. Make sure you stick them to outside of plastic with marine grease. Lipripper posted a good tutorial with pics some months back. Do a search and should come up.

Cool, thanks. I used to be a mechanic and should be able to handle the install....... I'll search for the tutorial. Found some the parts online after this post.

Technically, since you are making your "dinner catching" kayak better, her chances of getting fresh fish go way up. Less likely to have to run to the store (which is an equivalent "chore") to buy fish.

I'm solid in the surf on a board and a paddle kayak. This pedaling a PA thing is proving to have a learning curve for sure.
