Good afternoon OTW. Brought my yak and fishin stuff to work on Friday. Its a good way to end the week. Got off at 3 and went down to SI launch (decided Id fish there instead of Tidelands like usual). Weather was beautiful, tide was rippin, bass were WFO. If the tides movin, fish are biting!

Fished from about 3:30 to 7:00. Drifted in the channel from straight out SI to the turn, caught maybe 10 TR's and 10-12 spots. Almost all on the drop shotted 3" New Penny Gulp Shrimp. Several triples, alot of doubles, all and all good afternoon on the water.

Met another kayaker Eric, had a nice 8 lb. hali, nice to meet you man and nice fish.

Left the fish biting, missed the first couple innings of the Padre game, probably a good thing , since Maddux himself in the 1st. Atleast we got a better record than the Dodgers.
