Off Topic - Need input on Paradise Point Resort

Last minute decision to vacation in the San Diego area.
We've been checking out Paradise Point Resort.
I'd really appreciate any input ... good, bad, ugly ... about this place.
Thanks in advance for all replies.

It's an older resort, it used to be called Vacation Village. My wife and I stayed there over this last Memorial Day Weekend and had a bayfront room. We had a good time and thought that it was very nice. It's not the most modern of resorts, so be prepared for that. But the grounds are well kept up, there are several pool areas, the restaurants are nice ane overall I thought that it was great. It's a little pricey, but hey, you're in San Diego on Mission Bay and the kayaking and fishing is a lot of fun. What more could you want?

Thank so much.
Sounds like my kind of place.
I've got two boys, 15 and 12.
I think they'll be happy with all the water activities, and I get to bring my kayak and all the necessities.
A few mornings at LJ is just what the doctor ordered.

My Girlfriend and I love this place, we will probably get married there. Barefoot is great, also Cave Man Pizza is great for the beach bonfire! If you want to get fancy got to Tidal for dinner, its really good as well. Check out the natural grass mini golf!!Bring your own putter and ball and its free! What out for sting rays, last time I paddled over to there, a friend stepped on a sting ray while getting back on her board at night. he stabbed her sandal (not her foot) and it got stuck, pretty amusing, but thought I would send a cautionary tale Have Fun!!
