Another LJ Report: 5-31-15

Got the tail-end of this crazy YT appearance this week. Showed up late. Made bait on the first drop. Trolled the kelp line, hooked up 15 minutes later. Got wrapped in the kelp and was stuck for about 10 minutes trying to get 'er out. Threw the reel in freespool and up she came 30 seconds later. Released back into the drink since it was the first one on my kayak (crazy personal superstition but I wanna believe it will give the yak some good luck when targeting YT). Looked like more people were hooking up to the 2lb macs than yellowtail today so it could be slowing down.... Then again, they were definitely stacking between 40-60ft of water. Bring your YoYo.

Superstition or not, I can respect anyone that releases fish properly. Nice catch.
