Thanks to Andy, Matt and all the others for putting this together. I'm pumped for next year already. Also thanks for posting up all those weights. I was wondering how I finished overall consider the majority only weighed one fish.
Maybe next year guys could pay more to fish both bass and halibut with aritificials only. Or add a slam prize if you can get 3 or more species(bass and buts would be weighed and others would be photographed. |

Chuck D proved once again that time on the water pays off.
I pulled away from him and less than 30mins later he catches the winning fish. Halibut fishing is about as exciting as watching white paint dry; You sit, you wait, you yawn, you pray to the fishing God's. Way to go Chuck!!!

Huge props to those who helped make this event happen. Very cool to see how much this has grown since last year. Was nice to catch up with some familiar faces and meet new ones. Already can't wait til the next one.
Here's a couple pics I captured on the phone. My hooptie ready to launch... Starting line up... And the fish report. Chunky little sculpin, the fish kine not IPA... And my one and only contender in the halibut division...

This was my first tournament ever and I'm stoked it was for HOW. I didn't weigh any halibut but I'm ready to sign up for next year's event. Thank you to everyone who organized the event, thank you to the sponsors that helped get such a big turnout, and thank you to HOW for helping our vets.

Another awesome event to raise money for a great cause. Had a great time even though I did not manage a legal fish to weigh. Saw some faces to put to the sign in names for the first time. Can't wait for the next event, it is always fun to get to fish and help HOW. Here are a few picts.

He talking about me? Oh no he d..int...
Thanks to all of the sponsors! I gave thanks to Joey at Squidco. Tipped the boys on the bait barge. Walked away with the beautiful Seeker rod in the raffle. We should all mention/do our business with our sponsors when possible. I took a photo of CBad Mike at the end of the day. Looks like he forgot to use sunscreen or something...damn ugly too. Jim |

another great event put on by you folks! I enjoyed my time once again. I had an awesome fishing day, with over 25+ spotties caught, but could only weigh 2. Same placing as last year? i'll take that consistency.
thanks again for putting up a awesome event!

Really bummed I didn't make this event. I was just too under the weather to come down Friday night. Next year for sure! Looks like you guys had a blast, and so glad it was a successful fundraiser for HOW. Andy... you outdid yourself... good job man! Can't wait for next year!!! I'll be there this time!
