2015 WCW Iron Man

Lets see who owns this one at the end of the year. Any Yellowtail, white seabass or halibut hooked on the iron will count. Any "iron" will suffice including Krocs, Mega Baits, knife jigs, surface and yoyo type. If it is a chunk of metal it counts. Photo of the jig in the fishes mouth. It does not matter if you pin a squid on or even a mackerel on the jig, as long as you get the photo of the jig in the mouth. You can snap one boatside and release if you like or on deck. Post em here and we will tally em up at the end of the year and declare the winner with a custom engraved trophy stein.

EDIT: The angler with the most fish submitted Wins!

Day late , dollar short

. My recent catch may not be my personal best ? But this one was single handedly subdued . I was concentrating on not having a gaff stuck in me from a flopping door mat .

Is it going to be the largest fish? Or is the amount (number) of fish caught on the Iron?

DAM.......
I was hoping this would be an award for who loses the most irons...... A competition that I'd surely win.

Nice Andy! Damn, can my fish finder hurry up already, I got fish to catch! Iron is the best way too! Got one last week on the iron, but not on the yak. I'm really interested in seeing this competition through the year!

Just a guess but I'll bet Steveooo caught his the lod fashioned way. New yak, a couple jig sticks and no electronics

With Ross spending most of the year in Asuncion and surrounding areas I bet he is on top of the list. Gonzaga had two anglers take 60-70 tails one DAY last year.

Just remember it ain't who "catches" the most, it is who posts the most catches!

Iceman running away with the victory right now!

Hopefully plenty of more iron fish to come in 2015, and hopefully we remember to take pics of the jig in the mouth

Cant wait for these big schools to come up from the deep and start taking the surface jig

Andy, you said we could pin on a bait, squid, mack, does that mean we can also pin on a plastic, and if so, does lead head and plastic tail count as legal? Thanks

No Bob, iron not lead!

#2 sub for me, about 1/2 the size of most being caught lately, but will be tasty for dinner tonight!
