Kayak motor

I might consider this motor for freshwater bass fishing.

The only thing I find inconvenient is having to go through Coast Guard inspection yearly! And finding a safe DRY place to keep the paperwork!
Not to mention the added expense. Might as well own a boat!

Never heard of annual Coast Guard inspection for motorized kayak. Boat Registration, Yes, but not an inspection.
Can you expand on the inspection requirement.

I haven't heard of inspections either but it does have to be registered and CS numbers put on the side plus if you go to Mexico with it you have to have the same paperwork that you would have if it were a 28 foot Skipjack. Never heard of anyone being dinged for not doing it here or there but that is the law.
