Saturday, 10/18 - La Jolla!

KNOTTX and I are planning to launch out of La Jolla on Saturday, October 18th.

We'll be on the beach, ready to launch at 6:00A-6:30A.
If you see two guys on the beach looking confused about where the fish-are, that'll be us.
Me: Grey Marauder
KNOTTX: Orange Prowler
Company is always appreciated - knowledgeable or otherwise!

KNOTTX: Orange Prowler

Hey is that my old orange prowler and is it still seaworthy?

I should be launching just about the same time, just look for the very obvious red hobie outback!

I might play. Does anyone know how long the launch is going to resemble a World war 1 trench warfare scene?

Man would love to go, but I'm a rookie. Is there any pointers for rookies?
I've been out in open water at DP but never at LJ. I do have a PA14, which is still a virgin. Also no bait tank yet.

Let me know if you're willing to guide or show a rookie through the LJ area.

On the scale of Rookie (0) to Pro (10+ aka Darkhorse), we would probably be in the range of a 3, and if we really delude ourselves, we might be a 5.

You're more than welcome to join us and listen to us pretend like we know what we're doing.
