Turbo Fins (Pro Angler)

Had a question about the turbo fins on the pro angler. I pick up a 2011 pro angler last week and my first outing the turbo fin split 1" Wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I didnt hit the bottom or rub it on anything.

It split where? My old turbo fins had a cut in it from spectra that rubbed against it while I was fighting a leopard shark, the cut never really affected the intregrity of the fins or my speed, I had that cut for over a year and it never got larger/longer.

you can replace a single fin for $28, they do occasionally split at the end of the mast
