SD Bait Barge Relocation Information
new Harbor Island Location as of tomorrow morning (April 1 through May 15th) We have started the moving process to relocate the San Diego Bait Barge from the current location near Naval Base Point Loma to San Diego Bay south of Harbor Island. All Receivers will be at the new location by tomorrow afternoon (April 1, 2014). The bait barge will remain at this location till the Navy has completed the test pile driving. Yeah. I was out there around 0700 and they were in the process of moving the pieces by tug. Still got bait though. It was beautiful bait finally, not that it did me any good today! About 6 hours for one 18" 'but and one spottie!
