Introduction/fish reports
picked up an x-factor. I`ve been fishing the both SDB and MB over the last couple weeks and the bass fishing has been excellent to wide open. I typically fish weekdays and as soon as I get my bait tank situated I plan on heading out to the kelp beds and ultimately plan on making trips down to baja. I have fished puertocitos/gonzaga bay area all the way down to cabo on the cortez side and have spent alot of time fishing la salina, todo santos and punta banda and plan on fishing these areas again but I really would like to plan a trip down to abreojos in october so If anyone has any info on camp sites and launch points I`d appreciate it. oh yeah, oex MB has been a huge help in getting me dialed in, without them and this site i`d be lost. thanks guys. |

my man, i like how your thinking.
i almost always, ONLY fish weekdays as well. way less crowded, and a bit safer, with less boat & jet ski traffic, to disturb you, when out on weekdays. (and i'm fortunate to be self employed, and can shuffle my work hours, to accommodate my softball & fishing addictions.) i will most likely be going out to SDB next Tuesday & Friday. likely Shelter Island launch one time, and Tidelands launch the other. i usually have to work for a few hours in morning, then can get out to water around 8-9 am. and then always stay until dark. if you want to meet up during any of those times next Tuesday or Friday at SDB, just let me know here. always good to have another yakker along, but always seems hard to find guys that can fish very often on weekdays. PS - but if you are one of the guys that like to hit the water at 5 or 6 am, and off by mid day or so, then i unfortunately can not work that out with my work schedule. .
