newport 6/18
started the paddle and met up with 2 friends to catch some rockfish. got to the spot fairly quickly. tons of birds diving on chovies. no macs around. used squid and single dropper loop but couldnt find the school. managed 5 decent reds and this 3.75lb chuckle. cleaned the fish while drifting in and back on land by 1pm.

Nice job bro! That chuckle is big. Haven't been out there in a while, probably will be going some time this weekend, but will be targeting the kelp instead.
