SLOW...
Launched early without the help of my ff since it decided not to power on. It seemed that where ever I was there was a school of Macks under me ready to eat the heads off of my squid and if my bait actually did make it to the bottom in one piece the Sand Dabs enjoyed a quick meal. I did hook a baby (2ft) YT on a fast iron through a small boil that I saw on the surface that spit the hook at the side of my kayak. The wind picked up at around 11:30 and I headed in to an easy landing.

A hookup on the iron equals a slow day??? I'd like to hear about the other days.

A wet release at the boat is as good as a catch if you are not keeping them anyway!

Thanks for the report. It's great sign to see small yt back in LJ. Maybe we'll see an influx of schoolies in this year. Mike
