Lobster Report card at the DFG commission meeting?
" the lobster report card regulatory proposal is scheduled for Fish and Game Commission approval at their March 6th meeting. To date the Commission has only received one comment on the proposal, and that individual is opposed to a seasonal card. I was hoping that you (and friends) might be able to drop an email to the Commission that says you think a seasonal card is a good idea (if you agree). Here's the link to the Fish and Game Commission website: http://www.fgc.ca.gov/regulations/2013/index.aspx#1_74 The regulatory proposal is titled Sport Fishing Report Cards. The Initial Statement of Reasons gives an overall description of why the proposed changes and what they are, but you may decide you prefer to read a different one, or all of them. http://www.fgc.ca.gov/contact/ will take you to the contact page on the Commission website. If you click on Submit Comments on Proposed Regulations (fgc@fgc.ca.gov) it opens an email with that address and then you need to put Sport Fishing Report Cards or Lobster Report Cards in the subject line of the email." IF YOU HAVE THE TIME (and you agree) IT MAY HELP TO SEND THE COMMISSION AN EMAIL SUPPORTING THE CHANGE!! Thanks Jim |
