I just bought the non gps one and I love it I think it has good detail but this is my first fish finder so I really have nothing to compare it to my buddy has a black and white hummingbird and he likes mine way better so I guess that's something. Wish I could have been a bigger help

I've got the mark 4 and like it but wish I had spent the extra $100 for the color. Would come in very handy for finding rockpiles

The screen is a bit small for split screen mode. I pretty much just use the fishfinder and have a handheld Gps I use for location. Nice to have a backup Gps however.

I have it. The detail is nice but the screen is a little small for those of us who's eyes are not as good as they used to be. But it is a good unit.

I have the Elite 4 with grease mount for transducer. Its the first fish finder I've ever used and I am very happy with it so far. Its very easy to use and the menu is intuitive. Screen is big enough, IMO. I haven't need to make any adjustments, just using default settings. I found it online for $275 delivered.

Can't wait to use it. Also using scupper mount instead of thru the hull "wet mount". Think they're still listed (with all due respect to OEX) but now about $450. Shoot me a pm if you can't find it on an eBay search. FFY. |
