I was out there on Tues. Good bait situation. Jumbo dines in a lot of areas. I had some fresh dead squirts with me and got all the sandies and calicos I could want on the squeed. Managed 2 smalibuts, but no keepers on dines. Fished from the point to the Ritz. DFG was out there and checked me for the first time in 8 years.
Water is very warm and loaded with jellies and salp. Good Luck

My Sonar/GPS is in for repair so I couldn't hit my normal reefs and rockpiles, so I worked the edge of the kelp from the whistler buoy up the line to the Ritz Charlton

West Last Sunday:
Horse Sardines at the barge Small WSB and Cudas inside by the barge- No bites in close or out far to the south along Doheny beach Swell was flat in the AM and grew in the afternoon, but was at a pretty slow interval so still fishable. Would have done better with some chovies. |

Not sure about real recent, but last Saturday the weather was nice, water temp was good but the water was cloudy, even muddy closer to shore. Still lots of dines to be caught on the sabiki.

yaaaa more then i anticipated but ive been able to save some cash lately and went a little overboard haha. Did not really like the stealth personally that much. The bait tank didnt work to well for me cause i dont think i had enough weight to constantly keep the intake submerged so it would take in air and just get effed up on me. I really like the rod pod and scupper mount transducer right there. Cant wait to get out on it...Will be fishing Monday if you can make it down.
