My first video, dana point sandies + bonus
The bonus was seeing gray whales breeching. Much respect to those wonderful mammals. It appeared to be two whales but can't say if it was a mother and her calf. None the less, priceless. While filiming the whales I get bit a second time and almost dropped the camera in the drink.. Nice sized sand bass. The day looked like it was getting better with each fish getting bigger... The day was cut short, father duties called, daughter had an ear infection and wifey needed me to take her to urgent care. It was also a good thing that I went in early, I left the drain plug out in the back of my kayak, and water was seeping in pretty good. When I got back to the launch, I could barely pull the yak onto the dock. I couldn't even lift it onto the cart. Luck was with me on this day. Also made my first video, I know there will be many many more to come with much BIGGER catches. http://youtu.be/OErTIye6Sws
