WIND WAS FRICKEN BLOWING YESTERDAY!!!!!

The forecast on Windfinder called for under 10 before noon and mid to high 20's after noon o clock. Well........it was quite the opposite. White caps in the morning and beautiful summer like weather after 2pm, finally got off the water around 4pm. The wind was blowing so hard that if you stopped peddling you would drift a few yards in under a minute.

I launched out of NPH by the CS yesterday at about 9:am, Man was it windy! I was on the water for 1hr 1/2 if I stoped paddleing the wind would spin me side ways and start blowing me back in... my drift chute did help a bit but not much. I casted out a few times then paddle back, cast a few times then paddle back. After doing that a few more times i called it a day. I'll try it again Sunday. Nice catch BTW.

Text to Jorge @ 1:08

Me:"F@*k this wind"
Jorge: "Wind? Where?"
Me:"My feet are numb from peddling non stop"
Jorge:"I'm peddling with my arms"
Me:"Shit I didnt try that, I'm going to get a sandwich"

2 shorts for me, couldn't hang for the hot bite....unless you count the Italian sausage from Busy Bee?
Good job Jorge, one step closer to legendary

Is there a closer launch to the bait barge in SD bay than SI? I hate that long paddle if I can't make bait.

nice work.

Four of a kind I'd like to hook into.

Enjoy the Memorial Day bbq. I think I know what you're throwing on the grill!
