Most Do it...

Drink alcohol and fish from a yak.

What are the legalities of it? Can you get KUI (Kayaking Under the Influence)?

In Santa Barbara they give out BUI's (Biking Under the Influence) at the cyclic rate.

They could alsways use the catch all drunk in public......The charge is based on the officers opinion and they dont give a breath test or field sobriety...... Its based on if the officer believes you can care for your safety or that of others....... If they contact you id be polite.....

It's legal to do. You've heard of the Floatopias right? They would tie a bunch of float tubes, Kayaks, and whatever together and sit 10 feet from the shore in mission beach and drink and party. The Police couldn't do anything about it. However once they got into their cars being drunk, then they could.

you can drink, you can't be drunk, according to the harbor patrol in Huntington.
