Lake Irvine Report 1-16-2011...
Roxy caught the first fish.... then we got hungry and decided to have a picnic lunch in the middle of the lake! Roman's turn, as he hooks and lands a nice one on the 2 pound test rig...it was amazing to watch Roman get towed on light line - 2lb test! Smallest fish weighed 3 lbs, these were large trout. I wonder where Roman got the idea to pose this way??? He obviously reads BWE! (thanks Wade!) Roxy's Personal Best and first Kayak fish 3lbs! Roman's Personal Best Trout 6.5 lbs on 2lb test! And finally, Daddeo's Personal Best - 2 Happy Kids!!! It was an absolute beautiful day on the water, clear blue skies, air temp was somewhere in the 70's and water temp was a cool 61 degrees. Irvine Lake is close to home and the fish are large and hungry! 'I love it when a plan comes together!' -ED |

Great job dad...wasn't there a tournament at Irvine Lake? In the pics it looks empty. Roman's fish could have been in the top 10. Once again awesome job!!!
