10-9-10 Secret Spot

Not a kayak report...
Skin dove on my favorite reef, viz was 7-10, thats even stretching it. more like 5-8, but better than it has been. Surge was tiny. Found these critters out walking around, ended with 5 for the evening. Garlic, Butter, Bugs, BBQ. What a combo...

Went out again tonight, viz was down to about 1-2ft with heavier surge, called it after about 5 minutes. Oh well. Anyone down to skin dive with me in the evenings during the week? Let me know if you are down.

Evan

Thanks for the report.

Wednesdays and Sundays are my dive nights. I'm near La Mesa too.

Nope, didn't have to go down more than 15. I skin dove for these. Went out again last night to the same spot, viz was chocolate milk, so wen't to another and got 2, one of them my biggest of the season so far, probably 2.5 lbs. Since conditions have been less than desirable, I don't think alot of guys have gone out...but I'm not complaining
