I don't know about sizing but my suggestion is to make sure they have a zipper. Something I didn't think about until it was too late and had to install my own.

If it helps, I am 6'2", 160 lbs, and a 32 waist. I bought the large Hodgmans and they fit very well. The straps that go over your shoulders are a pain, but not a big deal.

You want to get the correct foot size then if they are baggy they are baggy. Mine are a bit baggy but not bad, the good thing is I can comfortably wear clothes underneath. If they don't fit your feet they will be uncomfortable. my 2 cents through my experience.

I would go with the proper foot size. Baggy is ok. I've always bought stocking foot waders for fly fishing. That way you can buy more comfortable boots. Although, you don't do much walking in a kayak.

Definitely go by the foot size. Mine are a little baggier than id like however, I am comfortable. The waders that fit my legs best had small feet which was a terrible feeling.

Yep. Sorry, I assumed you were looking at boot foot waders because you were talking about foot sizes. You definitely want the large.

Forgot to mention that... I wear an 11 1/2 shoe, and these waders fit well in that respect. I wear neoprene diving shoes over them to keep them from getting ripped and they are still comfortable. (have already ruined 2 pairs of waders that way!)

Even w waders though you will want to make sure youre not sitting in water for 8 hours. If you dont already have them, get a few super absorbant grout sponges from HD. They work great for removing water in the seat as well as priming the bait tank...

Hey Eric,
I have those waders in large. They are a little big for me both in length and the boot size. I am 5' 9", 9 1/2" shoe. As you know, I am a bit bigger around the middle than you. My waders work fine but I wish I had gotten the Medium. Next time we meet, you can try mine on for size. PM me if you want to come to my house. Bob |

I'm 5'9", 38" waist and wear a size 10.5/11 shoe, I also have some air in my tummy that I haven't been able to get rid of. Would it make sense to go with the large?

Shoe size is the key. These waders have plenty of room in the waist. Large would be great for you.
