Got these on the Wednesdays on either side of July 4th. Had to be out of town the intervening days and it was killing me. My personal best on the yak so far, sure would like a bite like that to materialize soon. No waterproof camera, so no bitchen' on the water shot, but I was grinning for days.

I technically caught this thresher shark in December '09 but I only put the video up a couple of months ago. I've been hunting for them this year but nothing that tops the 10'-7 thresher caught in this video.

If we are keeping score, I was 0fer the summer when it comes to keepers. I bet I was not alone. On the other hand, I had some beautiful, great days on the water and saw some awsome things for the first time.
The great thing about kayak fishing is that no two days are ever the same, (except for getting skunked over and over). I wonder what the next outing will bring? Bob |

57" of glory.I wish I could have gotten a good weight but oh well.I had another at 42# about a month later.Life is good.Looking forward to getting some bugs on Saturday and Lobster tortellini...
