my first from mat kulaaxuuy (land of holes)
finally

thanks to Ratdog
and Unreel
and everyone else whom ive learned from
by reading and watching and talking to

went 35#
45"
under 10 min fight
85 feet water
live squid(my only one i made)
aki hook (6/0?)
carolina rig droped to the bottom and 2 cranks up
65# powerpro 30# fluro leader
hooked around 11ish

surf was up
wind started kickin after 10
perfect landing

sweet.i love that it only took one squid...one live squirt is worth a lot when you need them...

what was crazy
got hit on the first drop down

like the fish was under me the whole time
just waiting for his yummy live squid

had lots of fresh dead
but the fish would have none of that

blue and white jigs
spunky macks

all ignored
