funny.... I had the same problem last year in South Dakota. I switched from a rod and reel to a Benelli ---no more pesky geese.

Personally not a big fan of geese. My 4 year old son and I went to feed some and a goose went right after my son and tried to bite him. I was able to grab my son out of the way but I got bit in the process. Let's just say that goose got a nice shove kick and waddled away.

I luv-em-- not sure if you hunt, but there is nothing like being in a pit blind with a flock of Canada geese working your decoys. A far cry from the pond rats your son was feeding
