Popped My LJ Cherry...(again)
Fish 12 hours on the yak off San Pedro less than 1 hour sleep Tuesday: Arrive at La Jolla around 4:15 am Wednesday: 13-14 hour day in beautiful Ontario Calif. Would have posted earlier, but then I got sick, and then all these other BIG and beautiful fish reports just kept me going WOW Back to day 2, It may not be a big-o 50 - 60lber, but she's my first off the kayak. and after being farmer john more than once last year it felt real good to finally get the game clip on the right kind. On that subject of "confidence" that Scallywag was talking about awhile back, (read the article) It was one of those kinda days. I had a plan, and stuck to it, I did wavier at times, thinking... I am where I want to be, doing what I want to do, But everyone else is "over there"???... should I move??? No, stick too the plan! Well the plan paid off Finally "popped my cherry" on an LJ WSB. and it felt really good... and I also left myself plenty of room for an upgrade Can't wait to get over this sickness I have, so I can get back out on the water and enjoy what my wife calls my real sickness. It was my 4th trip to La Jolla this year, and with over 45 hours on that water, (one day alone was 15 hours) I finally got off the water before sunset, and had a very long but happy road trip home. Seeya soon I needs me that up-grade, and one of them yellowtailed things. |

A win's a win, but your next one will have scales about this size .
