Interesting new kayak design

I have not seen one of these in person but the photo sure looks interesting.

they have had that style of kayak out for awhile.

Its the florida flats sorta thing.

Yep I've seen it in action. The outriggers actually move in to the hull to form a normal shape of a yak. And, with the pull of a lever, they extend out as in the pic. They have a rope attatched to the hull in front of the paddler, so you can grab a-hold and and pull yourself up into a standing position. Simply put, their a great skinny water yak, or great for sight fishing. Their not fast, but not slugs. If your interested in one, Ricky Mitchell (Fresno Ca) is a distributor.
