10/25 Morning yak session in SD Bay

10/25 Morning yak session in SD Bay

Launched the yak solo yesterday morning around 0600. Air was warm, water was flat, and the tide was still heading out.

Got to my 1st spot and caught a few spotties, then a large cuda. Then the tide went slack and the feesh got lockjaw for about the next hour . Once it started coming in it was game on.

Caught lots more spotties, a few sandies, a mantis shrimp, and 3 pop tart flatties.

Started heading in and hit up one last spot for a rattler. Hit the sand around noon.

All critters C&R'ed. Most caught using misc. gulp and plastics smothered in UNI Butter.

A decent morning spent relaxing/fishing while listening to the Charger game. Wish my team could have done as good as they did. Not looking so forward now to when SD comes to the Meadowlands

Peace,

Spyder
