Wow! Check it out.....I didn't know....my best friend is from Lisbon and we were there a couple years ago but I didn't see any kayakers, just surfers. My favorite thing is going to the fish market and marveling at the fantastic variety of species.....good for you....now I gotta go back.
When is the main season for the bite? |

I have been lucky in my lifelime to visit around 24 countries. I have to say without a doubt that Portugal is by far my favorite place. The people are awesome, the food is great and the sites are breath-taking. I drank my share of Vhino Verde, Gato wine while I was there. Obrigado!

The Kayak Fishing is very recent "sport" here in Portugal, although some people do so for years! But Now is in a growing process You ask me for the main season Well in Portugal we always have fish, depending on the course of the year and weather, the species have a singular main season (hope you understand my english) Regards |

Hi! That´s the BIG problem It´s very complicated, I will only summarize Since we don´t have a law unique to kayaks here in Portugal, In some places/captaincy we need to register the Kayak,so we can fish and others we don´t need the registration For both we need fishing license board About the motors, we cannot use them for Kayaks, unless we pay an amount And in the USA? Do you need registration? Regards P.S. - Hope you understand what I tryed to tell |
