Macrazy Sunday

Launched LJ Sunday just before 6ish. Made bait, not too many people on the water for a weekend. Paddled out past the point and the birds were goin crazy. The bait was boiling and I thought I was in the right place at the right time finally! Got the iron out and went to work and all I got were a few super sized greenbacks. Still had a fun day on the water, at least I know my iron works and now its broken in for some yellows. Nice day on the water and a long paddle back with a couple of beer stops on the way in.

Same story for me on sunday. I threw the b/w and scrambled egg 6xjr for some monster macs. Before I left I threw a croc and caught a few smaller cuda. Must of been something in the air, it took 2 beerstops on the peddle in.

I was also out sunday, same story but got several cuda. I swear Knotthead the seal was on me for over an hour and would not let up until the sporty's showed up. I think he's attracted to my bright orange PFD.
I even tried passing him off but no luck??

I know, I was thinking that later on, but at the time I just wanted it off my hook so I could throw it again.

Going to lj in the morning hope the swell is down. I have been launching in pb in the kelp forest and hooked up to a big 7 gill shark in 47 feet and 61 water temp. All on dead squid had a lot of hard bites still looking for the big WSB "I need me sum white meat." Sorry no pic.
