Beginner looking for a starter fishing kayak
I'm looking to pick up a starter fishing kayak. I've gone out a few times and had a blast and want to be able to get out there on my own. I'm not looking for anything decked out but would entertain pretty much any quality yak. Thanks |

Sometimes paddling alone is not such a great idea. Always try to paddle with friends.
There is lots of information on kayaks here : http://www.whitbyseaanglers.co.uk/ka...hing-index.php http://www.whitbyseaanglers.co.uk/ka...shing-reviews/ |

If anyone
else was selling a kayak it would be in this forum, don't you think? If you are not thrilled with what you see here today you just maybe, just maybe need to look somewhere else or check this forum later in the month..I know you will be able to find a kayak that fits you perfectly! |

Hey Sandbucka! You're in luck... My wife just got me a new 2009 Hobie Mirage Outback as a Valentine's Day gift, so I've been trying to get rid of my other one, a 2006 Malibu X-Factor. I've attached pics below for your review. As you can see, it's still in excellent condition and I've only had the kayak since the Spring of 2007, and have only taken it out no more than ten (10) times. Everything you see in the images I'm including; however, the wheels and the little girl are not included. Here's a list of the accessories:
* Up-Sports Seat * Paddle * Hummingbird 525 Fish Finder (used no more than a handful of times) If you're interested, please reply via personal message and I will provide you my cell phone number to discuss details. http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/v...7/IMG_8864.jpg http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/v...7/IMG_8865.jpg http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/v...7/IMG_8866.jpg Last edited by HOBIE SHAQ1; 03-18-2009 at 09:22 PM. starter yak
I've got a perfect starter kayay for you and I can let it go for cheap.
I've been using it as a back-up for when my friends come into town and want to give kayak fishing a try. It's got 2 flushmount rod holders in the back and a hatch up front for storage. It's not the most attractive sled out there, but it's very seaworthy, tracks well, and can get the job done. I've got 2 kayaks now, so I don't need this one. Send me a PM or email at jimcarter@sbh-sd.com if you are interested. I can give you more details.

Thank you to everyone who has contacted me with their kayak offers but as of today I am now a kayak owner. A big thanks to Brian in Huntington Beach who hooked me up with a great kayak.
