LJ 1/18

First cast with the Salax 6x never hit the bottom.

100 yds. SW of the December zone, 120'.

Fought like a BSB and up came a 42.3# yellow. :shock:

yeah, I fell for this one last april too. Where's the story about the Dolphin and cutting all their lines, etc? Nice fish, nothing like getting hung on the first drop!

Well Pat, that is a nice toad!! Did ya paddle in after that or try to catch a bigger one? I've done that surfing before. Catch an epic first wave and paddle in knowing you won't catch a better one. Anyone else catch any this morning? Kelvin
