12/28 Report
Launched in gray light to a modest breeze and 56 degree water. The air temp was a chilly 38 degrees. Santa brought new waders for Christmas and the waders plus thermal underwear kept me warm. No current to speak of in the morning hours. Spots of bait here and there. The only excitement was when I got picked up for a few seconds, and then broke off. The drag was light and the break was clean, so I'm guessing a shark bit me off. Several other yaks and PBs on the water. Didn't see them catch anything either. A dry landing and I was on my way home by noon. |

Nice try, Dave. Better luck next time. Any squid coming in yet?
