COAST GUARD BEACH NEWPORT - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I have never launched from coast guard beach because I have a PA 12 with no sand wheels. On google earth it looks like there is a path along the right side of the beach but i'm not sure. Is this a sidewalk/path? I've always just launched at lower castaways or 19th street beach on the peninsula. Looking to have less of a peddle to target the front of the harbor.

Yes there is a path. You can also use the docks to launch if you can get your kayak through the corners of the ramp.
