Really happy how....

My flasher turned out, it worked beautifully and was getting bit to best fishing for me was when it was raining fun trying to hold a umbrella reel and net all at the same time, I lost three fish at the net. Getting a campsite the
night 🌙 before makes it nice no rush.
The storms push the fish deep but most of the fish were between 20 and 30 ft. Reservoir was the fullest I think I ever saw it.

This is one of my favorite rod and reel combos

Team Daiwa matching set, over 25yrs old. I never used it in saltwater. To bad I snapped it in a truck door.
But I was able to fix it with a screw together ferrule.
Really injoy using it again it a reel gem 💎 of a setup

The stock hook didn't last long. On the Thomas Boyant so.....

I replaced it with a Gamakatsu red treble 8 or 10 don't remember but I matched it up
I hope it is not counterfeit hooks I lost 3 fish today
65lb braid to 6 lb Berkeley fluorocarbon
I have smaller braid 10 or 15 lb on my spinning reels and alot harder to use.

The last picture 📸.....

I was close to a single floating buoy anchored ⚓️ to the bottom. I took the picture as i trolled by ,over a hundred ft deep I don't know why the buoy is there in the middle of the lake. If those deep arc's are fish I'm guessing catfish and all the fish are in winter storm mode.

BTW.....

I will keep posting 📫 as long as people don't start causing me trouble, you know the "Haters and assholes.
Because I'm not kayak and I'm not boat, even tho I look like a plastic boat. I can do some things they can't like boondock launching. But I am slow like the turtle 🐢 and that makes me vulnerable because, I can get run over by the fast running boats 🚢
Canoe peace ✌️ out smile 😃 👓 😎

I really like this photo 📸

People have made comments on how do you fish with all the clutter and inability to move my gaff hook doubles as a boat hook. All I got to say is how does a blue angle 💙
Do all the amazing stuff, that they do....you learn
I call 📞 it fishing from the wheel 🛞 house 🏠 and fighting chair 💺 😅

Going to add...

A battery on and off switch to the trolling motor, It's to easy to bump it on....and wrap a fishing line when not in use....I have already experienced that using my down rigger ball totally wrapping my prop with at least 100ys of 65lb braid, i didn't even know it was on, lucky i didn't blow a 50 amp fuse
I had to take my prop off on the water 💧
Now I have a knott in my team Daiwa combo after untangling it at home and splicing it back in.
I hate feeling a knot in the guides. I'm thinking I can just swap ends on the reel and never feel it and have new line again 🙃
