red tide clears up when you get down to NW Corner
Another yakker on SDKF on facebook caught some fish the past few weeks and said that red tide clears up when you get down to NW Corner. I went yesterday too and I didn't make it down that far the ugly brown water was pretty much everywhere I went. Bait was tough and I didn't see much of it in the usual spots but luckily I was able to snag a few Spanish and green macks. If its still looks chocolate milk this Friday I will try my luck further down the NW corner or until I find better looking water.

I was out yesterday afternoon trolling and it seemed to clear outside of the kelp where current was strongest. Still a mess only some cudas came to play.

You guys are lucky the red tides in SoCal are relatively mild. There have been some massive fish/marine life kills by the red tides in Florida.
