Out fishin my man
 I meant out fishing WITH my man. Went fishing out of Dana Point today, offshore winds at sunrise settled down and got warm fast. Nice guy at the bait barge but a crappy scoop of 80/20 chovies and dines. My husband fishes a lot but hardly ever brings home any fish. Today's only excitement for me was this big BENDO   It was obvious that it was a shark and took some time to tire for an easy release. Thankfully a local fisherman named Dave P. took pity on us and we will be eating halibut tonight. Maybe next time my partner will catch something to warrant taking his piclol

Sounds like you were aided by Dave Pliska. He is a halibut fisherman of reknown in the DP waters (and possibly elsewhere as well).
