Snow
Does anyone want my reservation for the 4th through the 10th of June...If you don't contact me by the end of the week, then I'll just drop that reservation and I'll be up there from the 11th thru the 20th at campsite #23.

Kayaks
Stop by campsite #23 and say Hi Dave.
I'm bringing the Adventure Island and the Pro Angler and I'd offer you a loaner but we usually spend all day out on the boats... I can't wait to fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall on the hill behind the campground...

Bass
The bass bite is about the same as it is in all the other high altitude Eastern Sierra Lakes...

That would be pretty funny if he stopped by and just said, 'Hi Dave' and kept going.

Freeze
These are high sierra mountain lakes that freeze over during the winter and they don't hold bass...

Silver Lake
Hi Jim just got here this after noon at 3 pm and had to drive the last 20 miles with it snowing, sun shining and than hail and snow again. I'm across the road in the RV park, it's 40 outside and got the heater going in the RV. Hope to see you on the lake or I'll stop by your site hope to get some crawdads also I bought a trap and I'm going to try it this year. It just looks too good. Can't wait to catch some trout. Good luck, Mark.

What model promar net are you using? Going up to the eastern sierras in a month with the kids and want to be prepared.

Promar traps
My favorite Promar trap is the collapsible, spring pop-out design TR-503. Priced at $17.99 these traps are the Cadillac of the line and are easy to handle and they store well for traveling. The traps have a zippered pocket for bait and also zippered access to your catch and they are only 24” x 12” in size and open automatically in one quick step. The dual entrances of this trap are 5” in size so the big boys have no problem entering for their last meal. To access the interior of the trap and the bait, the crawfish have to crawl though a mesh net opening and once inside they cannot exit with out completing a Houdini trick.
Promar also has a couple of less expensive traps like the steel mesh TR-601 which retails for only $9.99 or the TR-501 at $10.99 which is also collapsible and square shaped but both lack the mesh net at the entrance that traps the critters. These traps can be found at many tackle store that carry the Promar/AHI line or you can ask your favorite dealer to order them for you. Here's EricO's daughter holding the TR-503...
