Lots of salad floating around and there was growing kelp on the surface and plenty sub surface As I was loading up, cdfw enforcement truck rolled up then left. No one got out. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk |

Ditto
Hit water before daylight, no macs, ended up going out to that big rockpile or whatever it is out in 230' of water. Caught RFD (Rockfish For Dinner) then headed back trolling a drop shot needle fish or whatever its called hoping for halibut. No joy on that, bot saw a huge bloom of the tuna crab (i think), drop my sabiki and caught 4 Big Macs for lobster bait on one try then they were gone.
One thing I love about fishing the Big Water is that you can almost always catch something, and the variety is amazing! I caught a total of 14 fish, including 7 different kinds. So I said it was slow.....I only saw one fellow yakker in the morning and one more on the way back in at about 2pm. YT fishing was slow, but did fine on the bringing home dinner side. It was an excellent decompression day! |
