I'll keep a lookout for Jamaican national kayak.
What kind of solutions do people have for locking boats to the roof? I want to find a scupper plug u-lock type device. |

I've been using KanuLock for years, and absolutely love it. Worth the money, IMO. The 13-foot version is plenty of length for a kayak.

Good question. That would help narrow things down.

Since it's my neighbor, in my neighborhood. It was stolen in the city of Buena Park.

eye's wide open
my condolences for you'r mate. my time on the water time has been limited these last few months, but i will definitely keep my eyes open . that is a pretty rare combination of model and color these days. IMO. i hope for the best. it's kinda crazy that someone would take the risk of: (a) getting shot, killed, or hurt pulling it down from vehicle. (b) getting hauled to jail. (c) dealing with the aftermath of possibly getting beat down on water while using it. (d) dealing with the people on craigslist moving stolen goods. does not add up. but desperate times equals desperate measures for some. this is a testament of how desperate some people are and this could be an easy cash in, sadly to say. whether it be 50$, or 200$ ?

definitely check craigslist see if any shop buys used kayaks as well. I would say the this cable attached to your rack would be a good solution but my buddy used to do that and he got his whole rack stolen..kayak and all

If you want help tell usock where it was stolen.
Yakima makes a key locked, plastic covered steel cable kayak lock that will snake through scupper holes, around racks and small trees. Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk |
