H Bar on 2015/2016 Outback

Is anyone using the H-bar on one of the newer outbacks?

I have a 2015 and it certainly is more "standing friendly" than my previous Outback (2009) but not something I have been doing with any regularity. I would be more inclined to stand and cast with the H bar but I was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with the install and the functionality on this craft.

Thanks in advance.

Huh, perhaps I will pioneer the effort!

I'll make sure to report my findings if I do.

I stand and fish on my outback all the time without it. That being said, if you don't have great balance and you think it will give you an advantage, I say go for it. I used to have one on my pro anglers with a stripping basket and rod holder mounted for fly fishing. It was great cause I could stand up and the rod would be ready to cast with all the line already payed out.

I set this one up with the H Bar and the H Rails, just have not had time to test it out. Pic of Mike Allen on one that Carl Rischer set up wit the H Bar and Ama kit
