need help?

ok so me and some guys want to go to la jolla on saturday, the swell is going to be below 2ft but the wind is going to be above 6mph, i checked on magicseaweed, my question is it safe to go out and fish if the wind is above 6pmh??

Most of my farts register above 10mph. Based on that relative comparison I think you'll be okay

All depends what you are comfortable with....white caps start appearing at 10kts. For me 15kts and under is ok, but for a newbe would recommend 10kts or less. The rougher the weather, the less gear I take, just in case of a flip.

Stop using magic seaweed and look to a reliable weather source. Up to 10 mph is fine to be out

Other than a slight choppy surface I don't have any problem unless the wind gets to 15mph or higher. Under that it's no problem.

Hey Jimmy - the swell forecast looks like it might be more around 3' and rising in the morning. Here is another site to consider using:
